Sporting Goods Manufacturers

Sports Gift offers sporting goods manufacturers a safe avenue to donate product inventory. If you have surplus or obsolete product inventory or product returns that cannot be sold through your normal channels, you can donate this equipment to Sports Gift to help provide sports to impoverished and disadvantaged children. Sports Gift is approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Retailers

Sports Gift offers sporting goods retailers several ways to support youth sports for impoverished and disadvantaged children while helping your business. As a retailer program partner, you can donate your surplus inventory or product returns to Sports Gift. In addition, you can use our in-store customer donation program to promote your business and enhance your brand image in the community. This program offers you a number of benefits including:

• Excellent community relations and customer loyalty opportunities
• Retailer can use program as part of promotional offers. (e.g., if you donate a used racquet, store will offer discount on new racquet.)
• Incentivize customers to buy more new merchandise from you by providing a way for them to donate their used equipment
• Source to donate your returned items, obsolete inventory or other surplus inventory Donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law

Sports Gift supplies the materials for the collection program. As customers purchase new equipment or outgrow junior equipment, they can bring it into your store and drop it off in the donation box.
